About the Studio...

Hello, welcome to South Hills Flute Studio!
  

We are currently accepting new enrollment for students of all ages and skill levels.  Whether you are a total beginner or an advanced player, we can work together to achieve your musical goals! At our studio, you can join a community of other musicians, make life-long friends, and enrich your life through music!
  

Students will work alongside their teacher, Marielle Brown, as they work towards developing key components of performance such as technique, live performance, and group engagement, as well as theory and musical enrichment.

With curriculum based around the ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music), you will have the opportunity to achieve increasing levels of flute playing within the studio.  You can also choose between several methods books, and will have access to a wide variety of repertoire!  You can also bring your school music and we can work towards that first chair seat!  You will also have the opportunity to perform in a recital twice a year.  

The studio also offers piano lessons for students looking to start beginner piano, or supplement their flute lessons to prep for college.  Whatever your goals are, we will work to build confidence in your playing, and most of all have fun and find joy in making beautiful music!
