The Fall/Spring Semesters are based on around the school year calendar. (Aug-June).
You may continue lessons through the summer, we also offer a special Marching Band Prep in June-July!
Active students will have the ability to use My Music Staff to track their practice and repertoire, receive lesson reminders, and also use the convenient pay feature. South Hills Flute Studio accepts Credit/Debit Card payments via My Music Staff, we also accept check and cash payments. Invoices will be sent out two weeks prior to payment dates.
Pricing is as follows:
Solo Flute Lessons:
30 minute lessons (Beginner) - $35/lesson
60 minute lessons (Beginner to Advanced) - $60/lesson
Marching Band Prep (June-July) – Special rate $160/mo ($40/hour lesson)
Solo Piano Lessons:
30 minute lessons (Beginner) - $35/lesson
60 minute lessons (Intermediate) - $60/lesson
Small Ensembles: **PRICE DROP** Student Cost $25/mo. Non-Student Cost $50/mo. Cost covers time, lesson materials/music, direction, and performance opportunities.
Payments are due by the 5th of each month.
Please note: Tuition does not include the cost of music books.
The cost for new music books is added to the next month invoice. Music purchased online is also responsibility of the student. (Supplemental music provided to the student with teacher's studio license/association materials provided for learning purposes ARE included in the tuition at no additional cost.)
Recitals are held twice a year, in December and April/May. A recital fee will apply to cover the accompanist charge and admin fees. (Student may provide their own accompanist to waive partial fee).
